In reply to: lisa 's message, "I wasn't going to post, but after stewing all day, I just had to vent. What the heck was the point of that last night?? Where was the Harm who promised Mac "he would always be there," who declared she'd "always have someone who'd love her". Instead, he was portrayed as cold and indifferent. Not even a glimmer of being glad to see the woman to whom he pledged "he would never feel about another woman the way he felt about her." Was that forced, awkward hug supposed to be a shipper moment? It was such a slap in the face to fans who lived through nine years of angst only to have the pathetic "happy" ending of JAG ripped away for absolutely no reason. (inside)" on 19:45:16 09/30/19 Mon

I never post on boards, but I am so utterly disappointed in this whole "reunion" that I had to vent somewhere. After 14 years, there was absolutely no point in bringing the characters back with this scenario. Then -- given that there are not any other episodes featuring the couple, it was ludicrous to have them talk about their relationship and any type of "what are we doing Mac?" future.

If the writers decided there would be no JAG reboot or further screen time for Harm and Mac, regardless of on what show, then they should have just left well enough alone and let JAG fans always wonder/use their imaginations. Additionally, if the writers decided Harm and Mac did not live happily ever after, then they did not need to bring both characters on -- one could have told their story -- and they certainly did not have to have another meeting where they lead us to believe that there may be some reconciliation. Better yet if they wanted to bring one or both characters back - THEY COULD HAVE HAD THEM END UP TOGETHER doing any number of things!!!!!!!

I also find it absolutely unbelievable that Harm and Mac would not have seen each other or even spoken in 9 years!!!! Really?!! That is so out of character for both of them. And, of course, that is the same number of years it took them to get together.

Finally (and it pains me to say it), although Catherine Bell did a great job in reprising her role, I found DJE's portrayal of Harm wooden and one-dimensional -- not at all like the younger Harm. And in his two in-person interactions with Mac I didn't get the feeling he missed or cared about her at all. At least in JAG although he was unavailable, you at least knew he cared about her.

I had started binge-watching JAG episodes again on the H&I channel because they were all so good!!! This whole NCIS reunion has soured that for me. I'm done.

I am also so angry about that reunion. What the hell did they think doing this. The storyline was awefull. I cannot understand how Catherine and David were willing to do so and even think we would like this. I am with you, he doesn´t seem to miss her or even care for her. We got more questions than answers. I don´t know if I would say DJE´s portrayal of HArm was wooden or one-dimensional.I would say they wrote the figure of HARM totally out of character. They led him say some totally immature and stupid lines. My favorite line was "but I love the carrier". I mean this is the saying of a five year old but not of a 56 year old XO of an aircraft carrier. So they haven´t seen each other in 9 years and i would say neither talked or done something else (e-mail, Twitter ). She wants to talk it out in a meeting by chance. He does not even want to discuss it. Is this the behavior of two people in love. No. They are done. Gemmill said he put some distance between them. I would not call it some. I would call it an ocean. But did you need to bring back two fictional characters after 14 years to let us know they are done. I think this was planned a while. Did nobody in this whole process say this is bad we can´t do this. Was it intension or just bad judgement and how will you come out of this.
