Have been looking for "O Holy NIght" by Annie--I think I got the author's name correct. I've been unable to get onto "Legacies"--and I have been trying for months!. This story is quite possibly the most rational and best explanation of the Paraguay story-line arc. That's my opinion, for the less-than 2-cents worth, anyway.
Life has been kinda rough around the edges lately, so to "self-medicate" in a relatively "harmless" way, decided I would start re-viewing ALL of JAG from the first pilot episode all the way through the final scene in "FWFS", Season 10. (ANd you can get all ten seasons at Amazon for a whopping $65. Even I can afford that. It's interesting how one's perspective changes over time. If there's any interest I might jot down my own observations about the various episodes especially taking the 30,000-ft. perspective of the whole ten years.
In addition, I am not-at-all-happy with NCIS-LA Season 11/NCISO-LA Season 12 "Harm and Mac" appearances. What a disappointment and what a let down!! I've read just a few of the "corrections" and none have really resonated with me. So I'm seriously contemplating a reflective piece on just where Harm and Mac are according to cannon NOW, not the fairy-tale ending we all wanted. Don't know for sure when that will appear--taking notes and doing some research on the topic matter at the moment. I'm open to suggestions as to how Harm and Mac seaparated--and did that marriage ever happen in the first place? And oh yeah, what happened to Mattie, anyway???

FF.net possibly going dark! I found out some information about Fanfiction.net.
Long story short, whoever owns the site has abandoned it and bills aren't getting paid and it's going to disappear sometime soon. No exact date on when it will happen but a friend of mine used to be an admin there and the current admins aren't communicating with anyone. Their Twitter went silent a year ago. So basically if you have fics posted there that aren't on Ao3, you need to move them ASAP. Not sure what to do about authors that have disappeared but left great stories except getting the word out far and wide. If all else fails, copy/paste the story to a Word document making sure to get the author’s info so they can get credit for their work.

I was just wondering if anyone heard if there were going to be anymore NCIS episodes with Harm and Mac or anymore talk of a reboot/new series with the characters? I can't help but think they wouldn't leave us hanging yet again.

this coming weekend is Texas JAGMEET - due to the world in general there will only be around 7 of us but it should be a fun time - hard to believe so many years later and we're still here!
I'm a fan of blue bloods - and tonight I'm watching a rerun and the scene was shot in Jamie and Edie's apartment. I looked up from my laptop and had a moment of deja vu- for a split second I expected mac to come out. I looked carefully and I'm positive it's the same set that was used for Mac's apartment. Same colors, picture frame paneling, the placement of the doors, the fireplace, the windows.

On November 27th 2021, the HB will be 20 years old! We were posters at Maeve’s which was a great JAG board about all things JAG. But we wanted a board all about Harm. We didn’t know if it would succeed, and when we got 10 archived in 3 months , we knew it was a big success. We added the other boards later. It is good to see it still going. Maybe for the birthday, we could round up old members. I wonder if JAG is streaming anywhere.

JAG just doesn't quit!! After ALL these years, my two dearest friends found JAG in reruns. They tune in faithfully every morning at 9 to see what's next and LOVE it!! Sorry to spam a lot of the jag sites on this, but it is driving me crazy.
Looking for a Harm/Mac fic set pre-paraguay where Mac goes on some dates with Webb and it drives Harm crazy. Harm skips a date he had with Mac and doesn't tell her. He goes flying instead and gets caught in a storm. She has to go pick him up and he is sick.
Later, they go to the zoo and rent bikes. Mac falls down trying to avoid someone.
Then, Harm is abducted and left for dead in the woods for days when Mac skips a date with him. After he is found, he has to have breathing treatments.

So happy to find the Harmy Board! Pandemic has done me in. Have started several projects and now have lost interest. Haven't seen my dining room table since July and now it's time to bring in the outdoor plants. Oh well, since I found our precious JAG reruns I really don't care! Today's show was when Mattie was injured. Did I mention I still want to heave when that Vokovic (sp?) degenerate shows up? Didn't really like Mic either..... Felt so sorry for Harm. Boy, have I gotten off topic, or was there a topic to my stuff?
Anyway, I feel the need to once again have the JAG theme song as my cell phone ring. Any ideas where to look?

I've seen the episode where Harm hits his head a bazillion times - but today is the first time I notice that when Harm speaks well of Mick, Bud says "sir, about that MRI." LOL :)

Love seeing renewed JAG activity! I’ve been trying to find old fanfic, and it looks like the Treasure Seekers board doesn’t work. Wondering if there’s any interest in compiling some links for fanfic sites that are still active, as well as some way back machine links to older sites. I’m desperately trying to find work by NancyT, Siamese Cat and Sheri Mitchell.

Binge rewatching JAG while in isolation. Am I nuts or do people say the Admiral's name wrong a lot? I'm in season 9 right now and hearing quite a few "Chedwiggen." WTF? Is it me that's not hearing it right or did continuity seriously not catch actors messing up Chegwidden's name?

I've been watching some of the oldies from JAG: Embassy, Chains of Command, Yesterday's Heroes, The Stalker, Wedding Bell Blues with more to come. I have to say they bring back great memories: What Becomes of the Broken Hearted song with Bud, Harm and Mac at McMurphy's Bar (bluey), Mac's bikini, Harm's white outfit on the dock, Mac in her beautiful dress with Harm in his whites walking down the stairway, This has Webb written all over it, Mac taking too much to drink, etc., aaahhh, the memories. I wasn't going to post, but after stewing all day, I just had to vent. What the heck was the point of that last night?? Where was the Harm who promised Mac "he would always be there," who declared she'd "always have someone who'd love her". Instead, he was portrayed as cold and indifferent. Not even a glimmer of being glad to see the woman to whom he pledged "he would never feel about another woman the way he felt about her." Was that forced, awkward hug supposed to be a shipper moment? It was such a slap in the face to fans who lived through nine years of angst only to have the pathetic "happy" ending of JAG ripped away for absolutely no reason. Having H&M married would have played into the storyline just as well, and frankly would have probably brought in more viewers who just wanted to see what we were denied on JAG. For the many fans who are begging for a reboot where we'd get to go through all the "will they, won't they" drama once again - R. Scott Gemmill stated in the following article (near the end) that it's only wishful thinking that there will be a JAG reboot. So I ask again, what was the point of giving loyal fans the middle finger? I just finished watching True Callings. That episode alone is enough to show that the entire "Harm goes back to flying" storyline from NCIS:LA is pure garbage. The CAG spelled it out pretty plainly that Harm had gone as far as he could go as an aviator. This entire scenario has me beyond disgusted. Apparently no one at NCIS:LA watched the last season (as bad as it was for the most part) at all. I know I'm not alone.

It's maddening that on Gemmill's current show (NCIS LA), fans got to see the development of partners who fell in love (Kensi and Deeks) and how they, as adults, could still work together and make a relationship work. NCIS LA fans got to see a healthy relationship develop with very little angst, overcoming of obstacles, and even have them get married this season, yet still maintain the chemistry in their partnership. So Gemmill not only does for Kensi and Deeks what H&M fans were denied on JAG, but he also goes on to completely destroy the pathetic little 7 minute conclusion TPTB pasted on the end of JAG that at least gave fans a few crumbs of resolution to the 9 years of angst.
