Sorry I'm late, had to complain bitterly about schoolwork :)

New species: It would probably be really interesting, I think. Throughout the duration of this game I haven't seen many aliens... There was one person who signed up as an Andalite from the Animorphs series, but they've long since gone inactive. And there was that bounty hunter... And one of my personal favorites, Squeak.
Perhaps a defined species would actually make people want to join as one... As most people seem to be joining as humans... Perhaps they just need some reason to sign-up as a uber-cool alien... *shrugs*
As for ideas, I dunno. I haven't had many brilliant ideas lately, trust me. I think my last brilliant idea was used up on an art project... Meh. I'll try to think of one or more, but no guarantees.

Feds: I think Venhydra needs something lurking there to tempt people to come. If anyone came to the game, they'd likely join and go to Tanari, where people at least are/were RPing recently.
I had a char there recently (he was a new species, too :) and there was activity for maybe a few weeks, and... I don't think I've seen anyone since. Perhaps new Feds might entice a few folks to drift over there?

I don't know... The defined new species sounds great, but I could see the benefits of a new gang of Feds as well... I myself would say both, but of course that's not very reasonable of me, is it?
And just an idle reflection: why would new people join if there's nothing going on? Certainly a cool brand spanking new species or two might be awesome, but if there's nothing to do, no action going on that they wanted to be a part of, then why would they join so they could sit around and twiddle their thumbs?

...Yeah. That's my comments for the day, to enjoy or not as you see fit :)
