Subject: She let out a soft breath, her brow furrowed gently as she tried to think of how to phrase this. "If it didn't work last time, then there was something obviously wrong, something about our relationship that was making you unhappy..." She murmured softly, her eyes honest and deep with unshed tears as they rested on his. "I don't want to keep you away from Jessie, I want you to be able to see her whenever you want Marc, I really do." She spoke earnestly, hoping he would take her as seriously as she was feeling. "...but I...I still love you, Marc, and I can't..I can't be around you without wanting to be with you and without thinking of how I wasn't enough and...it hurts. It hurts really, really bad, Marc." They had never really spoken about what happened, she had just said she was leaving, he slept on the couch and the next day she was gone.

Gotta fix that calender I have
That's marked July 15th
Because since there's no more you
There's no more anniversary
I'm so fed up with my thoughts of you
And your memory
And how every song reminds me
Of what used to be

  • She tried to fight off tears but she hated him hurting even though she had hurt him so much and she would never intentionally cause him pain like this. "It will be hard to trust you again, Marc." She spoke softly, though she was letting him know that she may willing to give him another chance. She was about to open her mouth when her arms were suddenly filled with a concerned five year old girl, her dark eyes wide and questioning. "Mommy, why are you crying?" She questioned before she moved her hand to her daddy's. "Daddy, lets get mommy some icecream." She stated as if that would fix everything. Ash just laughed, shaking her head. "No, I don't need any icecream but thank you.." She murmured before she looked up at Marc. "Why don't you come over for dinner tonight?" (NT) -- Ash, Thu, Feb 09 2006, 11:19am PST
  • His dark eyes were shining with his own tears, but he was mindful of their audience as she approached, and was careful to blink the tears away, though his gaze remained locked on Ash. A slight, sad smile flickered over his lips, and a little hope shone in his eyes, and he nodded softly in response to her question "I'd really love to... thank you." He glanced down at their little girl with a kind, loving smile, pulling her up carefully into his lap and pressing a kiss to the top of her head. "Daddy's got a whole load of time off work princess.... so we can spend lots of time all together... all of us..." He looked up at Ash, almost confirmation, offering a hopeful smile. His life was just not right without them in it... Ash was the love of his life- he'd known since he was 16 that she was the woman he was going to love for the rest of his life... there was just no getting away from it- and he didn;t want to.
