In reply to: Amorette 's message, "Lone and Level Sands" on 2/11/02 5:37pm

I liked it! I can honestly say that I did and ditto Amorette -- I am hoping that SS is having fits galore! :-)

I agree that the Ogami fight was a bit too long but it was needed to 'bond' Dylan and Metis. They had to establish the common ground and how else two soldiers can do that if not fighting. The bits of dialog fitted in-between the gunshots were good.

Rommie and Metis moments were incredible, I think that there were much more to the interaction then the id-card and they both knew it. I think Metis allowed hre to take the card, if you remember he intercepted her hand the first time and dropped it later. The fingertips kisses were fantastic -- such intimacy, and at the same time it looked like a 'blessing' to do what she came there to do. His behavior was as if he wanted the mutiny to happen, to have someone take away the responsibility of making the decision to let people go.

The 'second line' of the plot, Beka and Trance looking for Dynlan and the others was a bit boring, I expected Trance's powers of finding things to kick in sooner.

Tyr was a big disappointment. It looks like he lost his ...ahm, cohones, together with the blades -- his whiny attitude was less then appealing. He was almost hiding behind Rommie during the fights and all in all I felt his presence in this episode was not needed, although he is still nice to look at.

This was clearly Dylan/Kevin episode, his leadind and acting were extremely good and the duet with Tony Todd -- great. 'One madman to another' -- such a good line!

Anyway, this was a good show to watch.
