oooo..I LIKED this!

Okay, it wasn't perfect. I wasn't crazy about the Ogami fight that went on too long (and what was it with the axes and shields???) but otherwise, this was a good one.

I loved the idea of dealing with the time dialation that occurs when traveling at near light speeds. Most SF shows quietly ignore that because it causes so much trouble. The Star Trek franchise has always been careful to avoid even mentioning it! So. . .bravo for Drom for pointing it out.

I liked that Dylan asked everyone's opinion. I liked that Rommie was questioning what like would be like if she were just herself, not the ship. (Although I loved her line about who was coming through the slip portal. Me) I liked the hints that Dylan, like Capt. Metis, is living a little close to the edge, sanity-wise. I liked the idea that by the time the Bellerophon gets back to earth, it may be a happy place again.

Since I am not a big fan of the military mindset, I LOVED Dylan realizing the space was really for the adventurers, not just the soldiers. Yah!!!

And I'm wondering if the Slip is having fits because Rommie smooched a guy with ulterior motives and may even have done more than that to get his id card. Shocking! (Yeah, right. Rommie can smooch whoever she wants. It's only Kevin Sorbo who is held to the "no smooching" standard.)

Anyway. . .what did you guys think???
