We have never had nor did we expect the committee to pay for or arrange our transportation. Some years we were in the host hotel, some years we could walk and other times we had to take transit, rent or car or grab a taxi. As for the number of rooms my understanding is the hotel determines how many rooms to allocate the block and this year they opened with plenty of hotel space at other hotels which was not the case last year. Gaylord Opryland is way bigger than Grapevine and there were still overflow hotels and why ? because the hotel only puts so many in the block and keeps rooms for other events, 3rd party suppliers, loyalty members etc. Not sure why you signed up, the good news is you can still stay home
