You sound ridiculous! Our kids go to diff schools, diff studios, & have diff lives. To say that your daughter hasn’t missed out on certain high school experiences is wonderful, but isn’t the same for everyone. We clearly have a stricter studio with mandatory practices which would conflict with sports for us, and yes, we missed 2 school dances because of two majors this year conflicting with dates. We are simply stating it’s hard to be in HS and be a WQ dancer.

  • You just said your dancer does’t play school sports, so you have no clue. Mine both play varsity sports— way different than an after school club or dance. (NT) -- Duh, 15:11:51 09/01/24 Sun
  • Apparently you don’t get it. (NT) -- Your kid is not the end all, 16:28:45 09/01/24 Sun
  • Theatre and dance requirements at school are ENTIRELY different than sports expectations -- either ID or sports, 14:48:56 09/02/24 Mon
