You don't mention where you live (and that's okay!), but where I live in the USA, teens and even pre-teens are taught at least some of these topics in school (especially about recognizing grooming/red flags). I teach CCD and our diocese requires us to teach these topics, too. Parents are given the CCD materials to review at home.

I know this didn't always happen in the past, and every country/state/region handles things differently, so I take your point. Our young people need 1) adults to protect them (by believing them and taking action) and 2) developmentally-appropriate education so they can recognize those red flags and get help from trusted adults.
