Subject: Safesport- I wish teenage dancers had to do the safesport course as well, I didn’t know I was being groomed and abused until I was done with Irish dance. I had to do the same course for a coaching position and it made me sick realizing what my teacher (an ADCRG) did, literally broke all the rules.

It’s great to make the teachers do the course but it would be better if parents of younger ones and then teens old enough to handle it actually did the course as well. It gives language to behavior they may not be able to understand or express to others.

  - CLRGs relationship with Safesport is strictly just advertising they use their materials. It is not the same relationship other organizations have where Safesport maintains lists of those who have had reports against them and were found guilty.
