I would be grateful I you will let me indulge a little more of your time, but I came accross a shocking example of religious abuse reported in a back number of The Saudi Gazzette FEB 24

Baby Girl Engaged to 40year old Man.
Two year old Ruby who has barely learned to walk finds herself engaged to a 40 year old man in another shocking verdict by a village council in Pakistan.
A decision taken by local village leaders to settle a dispute between two families that has being going on for seven years.
One good thing I can say about Saudi that dispite its extreme religious views last week the Grand Mullah issued a Fatwa against fathers who force their daughters to marry against their will. Punishment can involve, imprisonment, fines, flogging, or a combination. Does this mean that the Saudis have become more progressive than ubf?
