Dark blue brute watched his brother's supressed emotions, glad he was not the only one to feel such disgust and anger. Ivory pools flickered to their mother, the small male frowning further as he realized her flames were all but extinct. She had mere minutes left, maybe no more than seconds. She would die here, paying her debt to her God for having birthed them while their father was off playing lover to yet another dragoness. Venorik knew he would never respect his father. Never like him, probably never love him. He was beginning to think that none of them would. He himself was going to embrace his mother's beliefs, no matter how little of them he'd learned in this short time. He knew her soul, knew her heart, just like all the rest of them did. He was proud to be her son, and more than ready to deny his father...
