He had clearly been mystified by her calling out his mother's name. But, on to more important matters. Aarien, always the blunt one, always the one to blurt out the bad news when nobody wanted to, always the one wolf to tell everything as it was, hesitated. She didn't know if the rumors were true, but clearly, there was someone important coming if the things she heard had been at least in the little bit accurate.

"Well, from what I hear...there's news of a return of the wolves. I've heard from others that Kosses is to return. No news of the King, Alaric, but of Kosses, there is plenty. But other news is that..." A pause for a sigh to escape her. "I've heard other news that Raumo is still alive. His sister...my mother...she may still be around as well."

Aarien didn't know how a family reunion would work out, but she didn't feel as if a meeting with her uncle who had predicted her turn to the evils would be a good thing at all. A hopeful glance towards Kaiyn and she sighed heavily again. "How is he going to see me now? What will he tell me? Will my uncle think I'm worthy of being Queen? Am I worthy?"
