He blinked at the suddenness with which she used his mother's name. Not quite understanding her use of it (For he didn't regularly see himself in a mirror, and even then, probably wouldn't compare himself to her - males were like that), for she had been dead these past few years, and very little of the past had been mentioned at all. What he remembered of his mother, was that she was kind, warm hearted, but stern. The last time he'd been with her, she had seemed huge to him, not the petite wolf she really was. No, he would never compare himself to her. He stood for a second, bringing his own thoughts back to reality while she seemed to compose herself. His blue eyes blinked, and at her next words, he stepped nearer to her, nuzzling her cheek. He parted his lips to speak, but changed his words in mid-thought. "I - News? What news do you have?" He articulated, his deep voice warm. He couldn't help but smiling though, just seeing her made him happy.
