Update on the kingdom,
That's the little kingdom here in Montpelier. Our corporate name is Creative Kingdom Concepts and we have been at it now for nearly 4 years. We provide an alternative to hospitalization for folks who need a time out from their lives to regroup and rethink their priorities. We provide an alternative, a New Beginning. A place where one can start again and evaluate how things are working and if they choose to, a place to make a change in direction.
Our emphasis is on the spiritual aspects of life. Our workers and overnight staff are all active in our local church, the Deeper Life Bible Church located here in the capital city. We have been the host of over 85 different individuals who have resided in our respite house, or in one of our 6 transitional beds for various lengths of stay since the Spring of 2008.
We've given both men and women, who have found themselves homeless and disheartened by life, a place to call home while they get reconnected to God and/or their support systems in the world.
We are at a crossroad today. We have located a larger place nearby where we will be able to consolidate our services and expand our support network to people in need. We have support of our local church and are believing that God will help us in this next step. We need your support. Financial support is wonderful! I have posted our address below if you are led to send us something. But of even more importance is your faith support; to join with us in prayer believing that God will respond to our step of faith.
I know, from having seen first hand, the dramatic change that God can make in the lives of those who decide to change direction and to turn their lives over to their Creator. Over and over, God has met them at their point of need and supplied them with the ingredients to rebuild their lives and all it took was their willingness to allow Him back in.
If you are reading this, you may understand because of what God has done in your own life, or you may not completely understand, but are hopeful that what I am saying is real and true. In either case, I hope and pray that you will come back to this site for updates on our progress here in Central Vermont.
