How about informed and thinking enough to realize its folklore. 10 to the 21 is one estimate of the number of stars in the universe. That is more then there are grains of sand on earth. If each star had just one planet (ours has 8 or so) it would mean a lot of planets. 1000000000000000000000 is a really big number. There is likely life on some fraction of those. You can ignore this and still enjoy your life, fer sure, but you are an ostrich with your head in the sand. Wake up and smell the end of the world as we know it! You can't escape the Truth. You can avoid it for a while, but like the plague it will eventually come to pass with or without your permission.
