>Hey, why call me paranoid when you are the one questioning motives of Reformers and seeing them in the most cynical and darkest light? That is what anti-reformers want because they know they have nothing to stand on themselves, not even the gospel. So, there only hope is to discredit reformers in the most subtle ways.

I think Glad hit the nail on the head. No church is perfect. That is absolutely true. The problem with UBF is not that it is imperfect, but that it is existing in a delusion where it refuses to acknowledge a VERY critical weakness, that is its elevation of leaders beyond accountability and into a position of extreme authority. That is a critical problem because there is no way to address problems. Samuel Lee to this day will not acknowledge that he was wrong to have people beat, to force them to get abortions...etc.

I see something different in reformers. They are willing to discuss everything and if they make a mistake I see them willing to address it. They want openness and accountability based on the Bible. Sure they are not perfect, no church is, but the big difference is admitting it and willing to come down to the level leaders should be on.
