Well here is other stuff to consider

1 you are trading out of something into something else.
It is now understood that 19 out of 20 us bonds are fake - and that is asuming that the fiat currency it represents will be worth a cow fart in a non carbon world regardless of the fact that we are as has been mentioned carbon based units.

2-to- million other reasons - are you thinking they are in control of things or are they hanging by their fingernails at the edge of a fatal clif?
