Subject: All the hype about higher mortgage interest rates are just that, hype.

In 1977 we bought our first home, a little cracker box (that we still have as a rental). The mortgage rates were 11% and we still paid it off early by 10yrs. So what if home prices are higher, they were higher then than before the recession that hit us in '72.

If new buyers want a home they will get one albeit a cracker box but still a home to raise the next generation.
