The company in liquidation is UVC Sales Ltd. The 'Club' is still sound with RMI taking on responsibilities of Founder Member.

Your points are backed by inventory in trust with Hutchinsons. However, your points will probably not buy you the holidays you were promised. Misrepresentation? We believe so. Entitled to a refund? We believe so - but who do we get the money from? We are looking at Finance Companies, Credit Card providers and Directors at present. The Concerned Owners Group has clubbed together to buy good legal advice.

Should you pay your maintenance fee? Unsure - I have paid mine to safeguard my interests, but that could arguably be seen as accepting the contract has been fulfilled. Failure to pay will ultimately result in loss of entitlement to points as the supportinmg inventory will be sold off/transferred from UVC. Should be a good legal argument at court.

All exchanges - internal and through RCI are now booked direct through RCI - you may have a long wait on the phone!!
