Button Links:
http://www.cooltext.com/
Click on the “buttons” button on the left side. I liked the buttons displayed because they looked 3-dimensional and the text appears to be set into the buttons.

I liked all of the buttons on this page, but I especially liked the java script button at the bottom which actually pushes down when you click on it.

This web site has an awesome collection of buttons and objects that you can use to create buttons. Click on the “buttons” button on the left side of the web page. My favorites were on page 5 (the metal dot buttons), page 7 (the 3-D diamond buttons), and page 9 (the metallic round buttons). All of these had a 3-D type effect and the ones on page 9 really caught my eye.

I liked the Squishy buttons because they actually looked like they pushed in when you use them.

Banner Links:
For banners, I looked at business as well as educational sites.

This is the web site for the Winter Olympics. I liked the use of colors and the graphics. I also like the two-color design in the background of the banner. If you were to verbally explain this banner to anyone, they would get the idea that it was “too busy”. I thought it used a complementary color scheme. The only thing I did not like was the green change on the pin choice side. I did not think that was a good color to superimpose on the blue background.

http://www.funbrain.com
I liked this banner because it looked like a “fun” banner made by kids. Whoever designed the banner used children and their interests as a focal point. I felt this used a complementary color scheme.

I really like this banner because it was a collage of different icons on a transparent background of a map. It is done in browns and tans, which remind me of parchment. I thought that this made use of analogous as well as complementary color schemes.

I picked this banner because it seemed to represent all that we did during the last class. It also seemed to follow a complementary color scheme

http://www.amonre.com
I really like this one because it is not a rectangular banner but a circular one. This is a company that makes sunscreen. I thought this used a color scheme based on nature.

I thought this was a very unique banner. I especially liked the way the text and the graphics were done. This also used a complementary color scheme.
