')(' Slender framework penetrates smothering darkness cautiously at first, smirk lighting youthful features with mischief. All too curious lamps traverse shadows slowly, unafraid of anything this dank world held. Sudden movement nearby halts peds as attention is turned on familiar male. Surprise registers and smile crosses facials wildly "Josh! What are you doing here?" Beast moves forth, his expression troubled. He forces a soft smile but again grows seriuos "Hey kid..Ah, I came to say..goodbye..." Wary glance is cast about himself. Her brow clashes paling slightly, she attempts to joke "Wha? You just got here!" The serious glance he gives her shatters all hope that lingered within her thoughts "But, no, Josh, you said you were done with them, you promised me!" She cries, step forward bringing now trembling paws to clasp his shirt. She frowns slightly, swallowing the lump that rose in his throat "I'm sorry Rache, I honestly tried..." Tears sting the back of her eyes "But..Josh..." He shakes his head "REmember, you promised you wouldn't cry when i was gone.." She seems slightly frustrated "But Josh, that was different, it wasn't like...like this...please, don't leave me alone!" He sighs, digits lingering over her cheek "There's nothing I can do Rache..." Vocals are choked softly with emotion, limbs wrapping around her slim frame in a soft but brief hug before moving away "Just don't lose that smile, iight?" Single digits brushing her chin tenderly. Her gaze follows him, utterly dumbfounded in shock and pain. She jumps and moves back into the shadows as two dark figures come from either side of her friend, the lump in her throat nearly choking her. it was over in mere moments though it seemed an eternity, the final gunshot ringing clear in the silent alley and her ears as Josh falls the the ashen terrain lifelessly. She smothers a scream, lids dropping sharply "Josh.." His name slips from lips silently without knowledge of doing so. Once silence again reigns she moves forward, crouching and tugging his bloody frame onto his back. Limbs cradly his head in her arms, blinking back the crystals that blurred vision, slender frame hunching forward and forehead resting on his chest as liquid dampens his shirt "Oh god, Josh, don't leave me like this.." She murmurs in a pitiful cry ')('
