A deep feeling of anxiety washed over Marie's mind as she watched Serenity pull something from a beautiful chest, hide it, and walk behind her. The weight of the now revealed necklace hung beautifully against her porcelain skin. "..my word.." Again she felt overwhelmed, the queen was just to kind. Marie only wished she could be as complimentary, but she was indeed a very shy woman. Never one to take the spotlight, always one to watch, to listen. Thin digits caressed that of the oh-so familiar sea shells. One of the oceans most spectacular gems. Lowering her head slowly she looked at the lovely painted gems with a glint of inconcievable happiness. "..It is beautiful,.. mother." Turning slowly, raising her head, she looked intently into the eyes of the queen.. Into the eyes of a beautiful, whole person. It was a big leap of faith, addressing, her not as miss, not as your highness, your regal.. but mother.. simply mother. Marie however did not only feel she played the part of a guardian, but as a friend, as someone whom she could always count apon. "..This is more than money can buy."
