I just feel this was a quick fix to get the baby complication out of the storyline so Scully is freed up to run around with Mulder in the finale and the future movies. Will we see consequences to Scully or Mulder? Or will it hardly be mentioned?

After dragging us along with the pregnancy and the baby for 2 years and then to sweep it away so easily was a let down. I can't imagine M/S taking the baby or young William away from the adoptive parents, their too nice for that. I say one way to get him back is somebody kills the adoptive parents and M/S have to take him for his protection. Or take a good look, you'll never see Willie again.
