Subject: Question for BDM, our Lone Male Phile here

I am having a discussion with someone on the OS who feels the sole reason for Mulder being on the floor at the end of The Truth was to recreate the Pilot scene. I always like to find reasonable explanations for the character's actions. This person asked a few male philes on the boards so I'd like to ask you.

Can you think of a reason why you, if you felt about Scully the way Mulder does, would be sitting on the floor in that situation rather than on the bed or is it completely ludicrous in you're opinion for him to be doing that?
