You know, I just watched AFI's 100 greatest romance films i.e. chick flicks. My wife was in heaven. I don't think about the male/female relationship aspects as deeply as you all do.

Um, lets see. In the pilot, the positioning was great. Very casual. The first time they let their hair down in front of each other. I've sat like that, and some even weirder ways, in front of friends or girlfriends or my wife. So I suppose it could have again in The Truth. However, I feel they just wanted to bookend the show. After such tramatic events, I think I'd want to hold Scully and not let go. But thats just me. Perhaps Mulder was lost in his thoughts and some quite time occured that had them get casual and into such a position. The Truth scene certainly ended differently than the pilot scene!

Please don't make me representative of all males! I'm so not the typical male. You guys are sexist! ;)
