Yeah, I gotta believe an assistant at a Top 10/National Champion could do better than head coach of #300 (or there about).

I don't know how low they would have to go to find a new head coach. Maybe an assistant at another MAAC school? It's too bad. At least a few years ago they could have used the claim that Prosser and Ellerbe went on to coach nationally recognized programs, in an attempt to lure better coaches with the hope of it being a stepping stone. Then they went to Gaudio (from Army), to Hicks (from a 1 yr D1 program). On second thought, maybe a MAAC assistant is too much to expect. Perhaps there is a high school coach out there with a .100 record dying for the chance at the big time.
