"I've never seen anyone make those before," she says to Dajan, gesturing to the now cool cookies. She then turns to the new girl who had entered and offered to help set the tables. "Thank you, ever so much. Well if you'll take your egg over there," she gestures to a basket by the hearth, "Varda will look after it for you until it hatches. I, in the meantime, will get the plates and silverwear down from the cupboards."

She browses through the maze of cupboards until she finds what she's looking for: the regular eating dishes and utensils. Carefully, she takes the plates down, stack by stack, and leaves them on the table to be distributed. The silverware she pulls out in their respective bundles and sets them beside the plates. She then grabs a stack and brings it out into the dining hall.
