Subject: Identifying Carpobrotus species

I am looking for a decent botanical key to Carpobrotus species that would include both South African and South American species as well as the Australian ones. Just recently I have been finding quite a few Carpobrotus plants around the Illawarra area of NSW that seem to be naturalised non-natives, but all my references pretty much only cover native species (with the occasional mention of Carpobrotus edulis).
One particularly noteworthy plant I found growing on a roadside in the Southern Highlands. It has very red stems, purplish tinged leaves and magnificent, huge mauve flowers. It has flowered all winter long and is completely frost hardy. Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers, Brian
