I like it, but I don't know how true it is. It almost sounds made to order for redemptionists. Not to say that I don't think that redemption isn't in the cards somewhere down the line, but it almost puts too much emphasis on Spike for the season finale. This is "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" afterall, and when the chips are down in ep. 22, Buffy has to save the world. If the show were "Spike, the Ice Queen Slayer" it would be different. :-)

However, on the hopeful side, the Willow magic out of control element seems to fit.

The real danger is that Spike's return in S7 might then be as lame as Angel's was in S3. Did I miss something? Was that ever explained?
