Spike wants to get the chip out to give Buffy a changed man. But I don't know whether that's is to get the chip out and prove that he can be good without it, or get the chip out and be bad. Yes, but it's not a life-changing experience for either one of them. Just one of those desperate moments that really accomplishes nothing but getting both in trouble with their ex's.

I wanted to know if Buffy had already seen the tape by the time Spike tries to have sex with her again in Ep. 19. That would explain why she was not interested.

The gang see it as it's happening, which leads to more drama later in the episode.

And Spike having sex with Anya isn't exactly the only reason for Buffy not wanting him. Aside from the whole "not being involved with him anymore," there's more that's unveiled later in 18 and some in 19 that ads to her reasons for not being interested. The fact that she's very adamant about them not being together anymore and not loving him should be enough, but there are other possible reasons as well.<<<<

One thing I wonder is what he's been doing that reinforces her not wanting him anymore. Could he have been engaging in more vampiric behavior? i.e. Drinking human blood that another vampire supplies him -- no questions asked on where it comes from?

Sad to say, but I don't think Spike would see anything particularly wrong with doing something like that.

Something along those lines would be a major turnoff for Buffy for obvious reasons. It also might give him more of an impetus to pursue becoming a changed man as AngelX's spoilers refer.
