Take a look around you. It’s not the manufactures that’s causing the mail order dealers out, it’s themselves. One mail order dealer goes out, 12 local dealers can now make it.

I think your going to find a few more of them gone before it’s all over. Discounting heavy and only making $20. on a sale, just don’t cut it. For most detectors there’s only a 30% to 35% discount in list price to the dealer. Just do the math, that should tell you why there dropping like flies. When times are strong, heavy sales can carry the store, when there like it is now, down the tube.
