Laf lives on in my memory

Our paths crossed in political chat. His posts made me smile so many times. We had some deep discussions & I learned of his life & love & illness. He was passionate in everything! Nothing half way with Laf! There were times when he called me up just at a time when I most needed a friend & there were those times when I phoned him. I remember once talking with him through the night while he waited for medication to 'kick in'. He thought it might not. Even at this time he was full of fun & laughter. He thanked me so many times for that night, but it did more for me than I could ever do for him. That was Laf! He will live on in my memory...
