  • Personally I think it should be top 3 only in each age group. Seems too easy to qualify for worlds in Australia compare to US or UK. If there’s only 4 dancers then they all qualify wether they’re of Worlds standard or not.   • I agree that it needs to be more equitable across the different regions. Top 3 for the first 10 and then 1 for every 10 (or part of ten) would limit the 'qualified just by dancing' while still increasing the qualifiers in the very large regions. Or Maybe Australia needs fewer regions? Amalgamate WA with SA/NT and then Qld/NSW/ACT/Vic/Tas. (NT) -- Ultimately teachers have to do the entries for worlds, so it is up to them to allow the dancer to compete., Sat, Aug 19 2023, 15:54:01"
