Subject: I am neither a teacher nor is my child promoted on social media by me or her teacher. I simply don’t have a problem with it as it doesn’t affect me or my child, I just scroll on. Barging into my child and dancing aggressively on stage however does affect my child and all the dancers who have to share a space with them. It’s poor etiquette, bullying and dangerous.
In reply to: Those ‘complaining’ about this blatant promotion often do have the results to promote but choose not to because they see the value in humble #champion. 's message, "Perhaps you don’t see an issue with social media promotion because a)you are the teacher doing the promoting or b)it is your child being promoted. By all means, achievements are to be celebrated. However, posting in such volume with countless collages of reaction photos, reaction videos, presentation photos, action shots etc. is not intending to merely ‘celebrate’. Smiling assassins, except for when you don’t win. Then results are buried. But then again, that is what conveniently timed throwback posts are for!" on Thu, Sep 21 2023, 11:55:44"
