Nadia waited nervously as S'mer walked over, checking over how she had put the straps on Adranth, but he seemed to find nothing wrong, he just gave an approving nod and walked on. Adranth gave a rumble of amusment - from her connection with Nadia's mind, she knew how Nadia had been thinking that she just knew that S'mer would find something wrong, though he didn't, of course. Nadia resettled herself upon her Golden Partner, from her 'perch' upon Adranth's neck, between two neck ridges, as S'mer began to give instructions on the most marvelous thing. Flying. That was when she heard her name called, and she blanched. She and Adranth had to go first? What if they couldn't do it? But no, she couldn't think like that, she needed to think encouraging thoughts for Adranth.

Adranth crouched down upon her haunches, feeling the warm sunlight over her body, her wings ready for this, knowing deep down inside of her that she was grown enough to do this, it wouldn't hurt her at all in any way. Almost as if she was rearing, Adranth waited, until she felt that Nadia was ready. She would make sure that they didn't embarress each other. She could do this. When she felt Nadia's mind calm, she lept up into the air, her wings beating downwards powerfully, once she was at the top of her jump. She flapped her wings twince more, and felt herself rising up into the air, and Nadia's wonderment at the same time. She flew up to the very limit S'mer had given them, around five dragon lengths (though it may have been just a tad more). Adranth circled, getting the feel of moving about in the air with her own power, before speeding up, her eyes whirling about quickly with excitment.

- We are Flying. -

Adranth said. Nadia said nothing, but nothing needed saying. Together they were going through the air, their minds linked together, each feeling the other's joy and knowing that they would remember this for the rest of their lives together. All to soon, Adranth felt the need to land, for her wings weren't used to this exertation yet, she'd need to practice for awhile first. So she circled down slowly, and when she was lower towards the ground she flared her wings and reached out towards the ledge with her back feet, and moments afterwards put her forelegs down upon the ground. She tripped slightly over either her feet or her tail, she never could be sure, but pulled herself upright, flaring her wings, and giving a bugle of triumph. She had flown...
