((well, snot, ignore the one above this. overachiever.))

Pale white light from the full moon bathed the beach in an ethereal light. Everything looked softer, more rounded, than it did in the harsh light of the day. Everything including the palomino mare who patrolled the borders of her home. Sharp green eyes roved incessantly while soot-tinged thorns swivelled atop her dished cranium. Her senses alerted her to the panicked ingression of another. Who was it and why had they come here? For help, obviously. The golden Arab held perfectly still for a moment, clearing her mind and allowing her rusting powers to reawaken and surge. She hadn't allowed herself to use her powers since the war. Whoever it was needed assistance, and Tori wouldn't turn her back on those who had come to her for help.

Swinging into a loose-limbed trot, Tori moved towards the prone form on the beach. Jade optics widened as recognition dawned on her. Firelight. It was Firelight who had passed out on the shifting sands. Shaking her head, Tori schooled her thoughts. Evil Queen or not, she had come to Light lands seeking assistance. Tori only hoped that this wasn't a trap.

Stretching out her neck, she placed her dusky muzzle against Firelight's inert shoulder and squeezed her eyes shut, concentrating intensely. A blue glow spread from the palomino's chest, tracing up her neck and down her muzzle, and finally enveloped the chestnut. Stepping back, Tori broke the contact, allowing the blue light to do its work. Within moments, the light faded, leaving Firelight rejuvenated. Her dark muzzle returned to prod at Firelight, trying to rouse her into consciousness. Whatever it was, Firelight had to be awake to explain. Tori held a tiny bit of magick in her, but that didn't include the talent of mind-reading. Soft brown eyes watched curiously for movement, wondering if she had done the right thing by offering assistance to one who would gladly see her destroyed. Eh, what was done was done. Only time would tell now.
