[Chelle's telling her side of the story]

I was getting Anda'Shaiyana ready to go to her head start program when Nelly walked in.

Nelly:[kissing Shai] Hey baby. [kissing me on my forehead] Sup lil mami?
Shai:[smiling] Hi daddy.
Me: Hello Nelly. Shai I'm done with yo hair. Let's go before you're late.
Shai: Okay mami. Bye daddy. [hugs him]
Nelly: Bye baby. I'll see you when you get back. [kisses her forehead]
Me: Goodbye Nelly. [and I walked ri past him]
Nelly: Wha no goodbye kiss?
Me: No not today. Goodbye Nelly.
Nelly: Damn it Chelle, what I do now?
Me:[turning around] Nelly do you see what time it is?
Nelly: Yeah almost 8am why?
Me: Why? Why? Because you left at some 2:30 this morning and then you were gone for 5 f*ckin hours. That's why.
Nelly: Sorry Chelle. But damn I had somethin to take care of.
Me: Oh somethin to take care of? Somethin more important than yo girl and yo baby girl? Yeah whateva Nelly. Goodbye. Shai come on.

My 4 year old daughter and I walked out of the house and to my black Lexus Jeep. I wasn't too angry at the fact that my man had left the house in the wee hours of the night and didn't come back until I was taking our daughter to her school. Not angry no no no...now upset yes.

Shai had on a pink Baby Phat t-shirt with a blue jean Baby Phat skirt. Along with some white and pink slide in Nike's with white and pink shoelaces and white and pink socks. While I had on a short blue jean skirt with a split in the middle and a tank top with one strap and some clear sandals that had a star at the top and a 3 1/2 in. chunky heel. I also had on some blue glasses, a clear belt, and a blue purse.

Shai: Mami, why did you and daddy fight like that?
Me: Honey your dad and I weren't fighting we just disagreed on some things. That's all.
Shai: Oh okay so you've been disageeing a lot lately huh?
Me:[thinking: This girl is too smart for her own good.] Well couples do that a lot baby.
Shai: Okay.

We rode to her day care in silence after that. Mostly me thinking about what to do with Nelly and all his lies. While Shai was listenin to a song on the radio and singing along. She hit a high note and it pulled me out of my thoughts. I glanced over at my baby and laughed. It always amazed me how smart and talented she was.


With Kay Kay[she's telling her side of the story]

I was laying in her bed thinking about what to do. I was pregnant with the baby of the man that I loved with everything. But I still wasn't sure about letting him know about the baby. Mainly because of the things he did who knows if he would run at the first sign that he would have responsibilty of someone else's life besides his own. Even though everyday he takes a risk with his and mine's.

While I was thinking my phone rang...

Me: Hello?
FV: Oh hey chica what's wrong?
Me: Nada I'm fine girl. Sup wit chu?
FV: I'm coo just tryna figure out what to do wit this nigga and his lyin ass.
Me: See Chelle I told you getting involved with Nelly was gonna f*ck yo head up.
Chelle: Shit more like f*ck my brains out. Yes lawd!!! How you think Shai Shai was born? Girl he had some good.....
Me: Girl hush. Cuz ain't nobody tryna hear about what you and Nelly do behind closed doors.
Chelle: I'm sure it can't be nothin different from what you and Jiz be doin bhind them.
Me: Yeah ok but still I don't be tellin you about it.
Chelle: Anywayz. Girl Shai Shai was actin a fool in the car. Singing along wit Aaliyah's "We Need a Resolution". She hit that high note and I was like awww hell naw.
Me: That's my baby girl ri there. You know she can work it ri? I taught her everything she knows.
Chelle: No you didn't teach my baby to be a slut. [laughs] Naw I'm just playin girl.
Me: I know.
Chelle: So when you and Jiz gonna give me some neices and nephews or at least tie the knot?
Me: Girl please don't even talk about that. You know Jiz ain't no where near ready to start a marriage.
Chelle: What about kids then?
Me: Well I'm kinda pregnant now but he doesn't know about it.
Chelle: And when were you gonna tell me about it?!?!?!?! I am so happy for you two!!!
Me:[kinda sad] Yeah me too.
Chelle:.....


With Clara[she's telling her side of the story]

I was at home getting my things together for school when Olamide` walked in the door. He said nothing to me but just walked ri past me. The nerve of his ass. So of course I said nothing to him either. I mean two could play this silent treatment. I was about to leave so I decided to say bye.

Me: Lami I'm leaving. I'll see you when I get back...or wheneva you get home.
Lami: Aiight bye.

I just glarred at him. He usually gave me a kiss before he left or I left. And he would kiss me when I got in or he did. What had happened to the person I fell in love with? I mean damn. Did I really deserve this type of treatment from a guy? I mos def knew I didn't.

Me: Whateva Olamide`.
Lami: What I do?
Me: Nothing. That's exactly what you did.
Lami: Okay if I didn't do anything why are you glarrin at me?
Me: Olamide` when I say nothing I mean that you don't do anything anymore. What happened to kissing me when you got in? What happened to making love all hours of the night[don't drool Clara]? And what happened to spending time together...going out together? Olamide` you don't do any of that shit anymore.
Lami: I'm sorry but I've been busy.
Me: Yeah busy with some otha tramps instead of the WOMAN you got at home. Goodbye Olamide`.

And I walked out of the house and slammed the door before he could respond. Especially since all he'd be doing is lying anywayz. I couldn't stand the fact that he thought I didn't know he was cheating on me. I mean he has been caught in college. I wasn't the same naive girl I was in high school though. He had to know that...but how?
