well the only common thing i can see about the two times anything odd has occured, i happened to be affraid. other than that, i really don't see anything else in common between the mugging and the long sleep. so....i am going to try and duplicate a situation that will ilicit fear and see if anything odd occurs again. actually, this reminds me about a book i've read called "kindred." the main character travels through time, but she can only trigger her time travel through her own fear. i'm gonna try the things she does to purposely inspire fear in herself....i hope that isn't it though, that would be really hard to manage.
