Looks like you and Jess have been talking up a storm :) I'll respond to a few things you two haven't talked about.

I'm very glad to hear that :)

If you could do that for us I'd really appreciate it. Is there anything I can do to help you do this? Would you mind doing it in the first place?

Definatly. I've been encoding my private messages with a 4096 bit key using RSA encryption (a search for RSA should find you an explanation of the algorithm very quickly). Most people consider 1024 bit encryption secure, apparently its not :). The short version is that you theorectically should have had to try 2^4096 different "keys" in order to unlock that message. That's about 10^1200. Thinking about it, you would need more than 10^1000 modern desktop computers working for a year to crack a key that size. There are less than 10^9 computers in the world.

There are three possible explanations:

1) You have access to a quantum computer, which is a theoretical device that can solve these sorts of problems quickly.
2) You're code involves some algorithm that relies on P being equal to NP. That means a whole bunch of hard problems aren't actually that hard.
3) Some unknown mechanism.

I'm not sure what is going on, but Jess and I will think of ways we can find out, if you would like us to. She and I are both Computer Scientists and we are both really interested in this stuff.

Jessica gave a very good explanation, probably a better one than I could have given. But she summed up why I feel how I do, though I think my feelings about this are very subconcious.
