No, it is not too old. Actually it is an advantage because you just MIGHT be somebody's wife or old lady. You can probably just wear a wedding ring and just walk right back there. Good luck! Maybe bring him a gift or something you made or wrote or painted -- no booze or drugs though if he's trying to stay off. Sometimes musicians really dig being turned on to other music they haven't heard that is cool as well so a CD is also a good gift. They can listen to it on the bus or whatever. Just be calm and cool enough to hang with. It's probably best to suss them out first and see if you'd even WANT to sleep with them. Just see what it's like around them first.
