 First of all, I'm glad I found this site... Thank you very much, to John, who referred me here, and to everyone hosting and participating!

I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar problem:

My Vivanté SE (uses 12-cell Li-Ion) apparently fails to charge batteries. Either that or I got two bad batteries in a row. The power meter in Windows showed zero for the first battery. I tried the "learning" but it never completed after 3 days. I got an RMA and sent that battery back. The replacement did complete learning, but showed only 13% (after a couple weeks it seems to be down to 11%). It doesn't hold enough power even to finish booting Windows.

I got a second RMA from Transmonde, this time to send the computer. I was about to send it, but then the news came that Transmonde was out of power, itself!

I am hoping I will be able to find my original invoice; meanwhile I thought I would see if anyone has experience with this sort of symptom.
