Subject: I haven't been on a plane since SAL '99...bad move on my part since 9/11 ...but fear has gripped me bad, I have thought of the Les show in Atlanta, and GOD knows I would love to see Lori..even talked to Denise about it but, we shall see. And yes real life does indeed take back it's rightful place after-a-while and for me....that was a very very good thing. Like I said, I miss many people from online, and did make some wonderful friends and memories...who I still talk to and see...but the rest of it...hmmmm not sure I would ever wanna get caught up in it all again. Subject Author Date Sounds to me like you've got more fears than just flying. Unless you're an addict to the ancillary distractive negatives that so easily accompany Rollerdom, then I'd encourage you to take a trip and do it all the right way this time. Hang out with a few good friends and just don't get too caught up in it all. You're older and all the wiser. Assuming I'm able to go, I intend to stay grounded by taking my best friend to the show with me while my dear wife hangs out with his wife and kids back at his house. Sounds like I would need to purchase a $100 ticket just to meet Les, and I don't think I'd do that. If I do stay there, my wife and firstborn child will be with me. Yes, I guess this is as good a time as any to finally tell you all. I'm days away from becoming a daddy for the first time. It's the greatest miracle to ever happen in my life.
