If nothing was recently added to bring out a trait, then the trait should already be in the gene pool. I agree with that. But, if that is the case, such traits will show up from time to time.

With all the blue boerboels and blue brindles now being seen within the breed, that suggests a fairly high frequency for the recessive gene. So, my question is...where were all these blue boerboels 10-25 years ago?
