Subject: Puppy question on aggression

Hi every one I just had a question about my puppy. He is 5 months and he already barks at people when they walk by my house or come to my door. Which is fine we me I do want him to watch my house but I have never seen a puppy so young do this.The other moring a got up and my BB puppy followed me out of my room my boyfriend Adam was laying on the couch. Abam sat up and startled my BB puppy he ran over there with his hair up barking like he was going to bite him. Then he realize who it was and started wagging his tail. Is this normal for a puppy this age ? Do you think he will become more aggresive as he gets older ? He is very friendly when we have people over.
