Paula, you and Adam need to work as a team to get this behavior a under control. It's good that he shows signs of bravery and confidence, but you two need to work on his behavior with Adam.
That means Adam needs to stand up for himself and take this seriously! (if he isn't already)
Zero may only be 5 months old and manageable now, but if you don't start correcting him, he's going to get even more confident in his ability to dominate and bully family members. And once he thinks he can bully his pack around, he's going to think he can bully everyone around. That spells DANGEROUS DOG FOR EVERYONE!
Understand though, that he will be testing you both as well as everyone he comes in contact with until you teach him what is appropriate and what's inappropriate. That's normal behavior for a pack animal. He is going on instinct, and you both have to mold him and those instincts to be beneficial to you.
What kind of reprimands have you guys already tried?

~Nikki~
