That has happened because they have been "corrected" when they came forward. Damage already done. A mother doesn't do this like you think because the mother of a wild wolf vomits and the pups eat it up quickly. Remember, wolves don't have 10 pups at a time. If you want the pups to work, give them a toy and work them that way. They will enjoy it. Don't get me wrong...you can do stuff like you did on occation IMO without serious consequences, but I certainly wouldn't make every feeding in the manner you showed.
