Hi All:

Yesterday's election results were, at least for me, a little disappointing. Dubya and the Republicans now have control of all three branches of government, so I guess we are pretty much fucked for the next two years. Makes me want to slit my wrists to think what is going to happen starting in January 2003. The boy is not bright, but he did manage to pull his party together and stompt the crap out of social progressives and Democrats. We can only hope that Dubya manages to blow himself up while playing with a hand-grenade in the Oval Office.

I am quite partisan and rather vitriolic when it comes to politics. Between Dubya, Cheney and Ashcroft, we might as well say good-bye to personal freedoms and liberties. Any inspiration I had to write has been drilled out of me with the election results, and just when my workload started to decrease. Things are too gloomy in my mind right now to be creative. My sense of hope and optimism has taken a bad hit, and... well, I hope America gets exactly what it deserves with Dubya and Gang in control. Shit! We are truly fucked. Please, let Collin Powell give Dubya a grenade to play with!
