 P.S. Sorry for the long silence guys, just got anew job and it's taking up ALL of my time :o)

Standing at the space port, I was consumed by doubt. Standing beside me, my friend Reg worried outloud for me.

"Are you sure you want to do this? This could mean the end of your career! What will you do if it goes badly? Will you be able to fire on a Starfleet ship? Gabrielle? What are you doing?"

I walked away as he asked, looking back and smiling. "I'll see you later Reg. Don't worry! What could go wrong?"

Boarding the ship, I headed to the bridge. Seeing the captain sitting in his chair, I threw a half salute at him and smiled. "Commander Silberman reporting for duty captain."

"Gabrielle", he said surprised. "I didn't think you were coming."

"Truthfully," I said, sitting down in the chair beside him, "I didn't think I was coming either, but here I am."

Nodding, the captain went back to staring at the screen.

P.S. Do I have this straight? Flint is the bad guy and..who is the good guy? And what, exactly is the plot here?
