Revulsion swept through him. What kind of a creature was this? "C'mon guys," Zidane said. "Let's go!" Auron held him back. "We can't beat it," Auron said softly. "What are you talking about?" Zidan asked furiously. Auron shook his head slowly. "No... we can't. This isn't like anything we've fought before, Zidane. It isn't worth it." "Who are you to tell me what battles to fight?" Zidane hissed. Before Auron could protest, Zidane took off running towards the monster. -- "Well, what should we do then?" Lulu asked coldly. "I don't see a point in this journey without them." "We just need to find them," Rikku said reasonably. "It can't be that hard... I think we're almost out of the forest, anyway. The trees are thinning a bit. It'll be easier to spot them, then." Kiana smiled. Rikku seemed almost confident. She looked nothing how she did a few minutes ago; she didn't even seem afraid. Maybe she actually did believe they could get through now. Tidus had many questions (as usual). This time, however, it was actually a valid one. "Why do you think that they're out of the forest?" Rikku shrugged. "We're almost out of it, anyway. We might as well look outside of it. Aren't you getting a bit sick of this forest?" They trudged on, and the natural roof of trees let through more and more light. Before long, they were finally outside of the forest. The group looked up at the steep incline of a very foreboding mountain slope. Everyone couldn't help but shudder.
